Privacy Policy

WNDER is a social excursion-planning app — it turns pasted plans, screenshots, and saved links into clean, shareable itineraries called excursions, and preserves each outing as a recap. This policy describes what data WNDER collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email, username, display name, and profile photo.
• Content you create — excursions, stops, recaps, uploaded photos, saved places, and hearts/saves.
• Social graph — the people you follow and who follows you.
• Location data — addresses and places you enter (geocoded to map coordinates) and your optional profile location.
• Technical data — auth session cookies/tokens and your IP address, used to keep you signed in and to prevent abuse.

How we use your information

We use this data to run the app: building and displaying your excursions and recaps, enabling sharing and the social graph (follows, saves, hearts), geocoding the places you enter so they render correctly on a map, and detecting and preventing abusive traffic.

AI processing

When you paste text or upload an image to build an excursion, that content is sent to Anthropic's Claude models so it can be structured into individual stops (place names, addresses, notes). This content is used only to generate your excursion and is not used by Anthropic to train their models by default.

Third parties we work with

WNDER relies on the following processors to operate the service. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run these services:

• Supabase — authentication, our database, and file storage (avatars, excursion and recap photos).
• Vercel — hosts the WNDER application.
• Geoapify — geocodes the addresses and places you enter, and renders map tiles.
• Anthropic (Claude) — structures pasted or uploaded content into stops, as described above.
• Upstash — rate-limits requests to prevent abuse; this processes your IP address.

Sharing & visibility

Public excursions and public share links are viewable by anyone who has the link. Private excursions are not shared and are enforced server-side, not just hidden in the interface. What your followers can see is governed by the privacy setting you choose for each excursion.

Cookies

WNDER uses authentication/session cookies issued by Supabase to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account or data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll process the request.

Your choices

You can edit your profile data at any time, adjust the privacy setting on any excursion, and request deletion of your account or data by contacting us.

Children

WNDER is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as WNDER changes. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
